HVI Conductor (high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductor) in a supporting tube, to maintain the separation distance from electrically conductive parts according to IEC 62305-3, in order to prevent dangerous flashover between external lightning protection system components and indoor conductive parts (electrical installation, piping, etc.). In order to avoid creeping discharge, the HVI Conductor has a special outer sheath which makes it possible to discharge high lightning impulse voltages to a reference potential. HVI Conductor (black), with sealing end and EB spring element inside the supporting tube (length 3200 mm) with air-termination tip (D10 mm length 1000 mm) and an earth connection element. Equivalent separation distance s ≤ 075 cm (in air), s ≤ 150 cm (solid material).
